Cocktails & Mocktails using drinking vinegar

Hello there Lovlies, today we are going to talk about Drinking Vinegar, also known by the name of Shrub. We have just re-released our Limited Edition Pineapple, Ginger & Turmeric Edition. So follow along to learn more about this amazing product and some of the creative cocktails & mocktails you can make with it.

So what is a drinking vinegar?

Drinking vinegar (also known as a Shrub) is a fruit syrup, preserved with vinegar and mixed with water or alcohol to make a tangy, refreshing beverage. An old-fashioned favourite, shrubs have steadily made a comeback in the last several years, especially on cocktail menus – ours teams up nicely with some vodka or gin & soda water with a sprig of mint for example.

Our shrub is a combination of our A.C.V (including the mother), Pineapple, Ginger & Turmeric and is perfect for the summer ahead.

Drinking vinegars/Shrubs can be stand alone in drinks, topped with either cold water (as was customary in early America) or with club soda, ginger ale, or any clear soda.  It is a very refreshing, come-back-to-life kind of beverage on a hot day that gives you an electrolyte boost, making it an excellent alternative to drinks like Gatorade after a workout plus you have the benefits to your gut health from the ACV.

You will be happy to know it is also Vegan & Gluten Free
