Stewed Apple Tonic


  • 4 green apples, peeled and cubed
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 tbsp fresh grated ginger
  • 1 stick of cinnamon broken up
  • 2 tbsp honey I used 41 degrees south Tasmanian Leatherwood Ginseng Honey
  • 2 tbsp cider tonic


  • Place apples, water, ginger & cinnamon pieces into a small saucepan on low heat and cook until softened.
  • Remove the cinnamon pieces and allow to cool.
  • Once cooled add the honey and Cider Tonic.
  • Stored in a glass jar in the fridge for up to 5 days.
